Established in 1971, the Omanu Golf Club has built a reputation as the “friendly club” and offers a great golfing experience to its members and visitors alike. The golf course is of a very high standard and would best be described as parklike. The fairways are mostly flat with some slight undulation and the rough is cut to a consistent length which provides a challenge for the better golfer but remains playable for all levels. The Café, Bar and Proshop operate 7 days a week and there is space for visitors almost everyday |

The St Andrews course was opened in April 1913, and while originally an inland links style course, today it is more picturesque with some holes bordering the mighty Waikato River. Our most renown would have to be the par 3 18th. While protected by bunkers surrounding the green that catch any shot lacking in direction and distance, it's the 2.8 metre deep front bunker that's most intimidating. St Andrews of Hamilton has proudly hosted numerous top amateur & professional events, including open championships prior to 1980, Men's & Women's National Amateur events, the 32nd Queens Sirikit Cup in 2010 and the annual Brian Perry Classic Pro-Am, |
